Revit - Solar Curtain Wall Panel

Create a new Metric Generic Model family and draw the solar cell in elevation as an extrusion.

Add dimensions and set them to be equal. Set the thickness to 2mm and set the material.

Create another Metric Generic Model family and create an array of cells from the loaded Solar Cell.

Equaly space the elements and dimension the height and cell array count, label as instances.

Load the solar cell array family into a new Metric Curtain Wall Panel family

Add reporting height and width parameters between the existing reference lines in external elevation

(make them an instance and tick reporting).

This will allow the solar cells to adapt to the dimensions of the curtain wall panel.

Once the horizontal array is created use Edit Group to associate the array height.

Click on the small Associate Family Parameter box.

The array spread in the single solar cell family needs to be associated with the array spread in the curtain wall panel.

The cells are adaptive but must contain at least two cells in each direction (the minimum for an array).
